It is a real pity that there seems to be a deafness with respect to RA. The site has an important history and great potential but I fear it may go the way of most history in the Shepparton area. The council (and others "non-historically minded" involved) should be ashamed of them selves!
RA could be turned into a world class tourist attraction, at least to those interested in technology, as well as a technical training center. That is one thing that is sorely missed and urgently needed. I hope blind greed does not win out.
