After watching this Youtube video..
I thought it could be fun to try one of these gearboxes.My version is scaled up 1.25 times as that suited the bearings I had. 10mm diam, 4mm think with a 3mm center hole.
This is the result.
It is quite a bit modified from the original, only the main gears are used as is, sort of.
The flex gear is printed with TPU 95A. It may work better with softer PTU.

For those who feel like having a play, here are the files.
I have added a bearing in the top cover, and another on the bottom of the rotor.


The main body has 3 holes, both ends to be tapped M3, to hold the top on and mount the gearbox to a panel.
The crank handle is a mod of the one I did for the Spellbinder embosser...

The local art group purchased an embossing press but the handle was not on the box. So, here is my attempt at making one.An M6x50 hex bolt is the shaft, with 2 x Nylock nuts and a washer used to make the shaft assemble. the M3 screw hols the crank on the shaft as there was a tapped M3 hole down...
