All signals heard this evening. I used the Barlow Wadley outside on the fence post (the listening post) with a counterpoise wire. All sigs. strong, low level cycling radar pulses in the background. Cheers.

Maybe we should call the SDR that Dallas is working on "The Listening Post" :)

Thanks for the report Bill, this is a picture of the IronStone SDR waterfall during the club net last night, the Marker is on 3.630 Mhz, notice the broadband signal just above 3.630 all the way to 3.685 approx 50-60 kHz wide. Very strange.

There are some very strange signals around that's for sure. I have some towers here, one self supporting triangle style with concrete base abt 3 tonnes with embedded pivot mounts. A hole could be dug with the backhoe and the base could be planted and back filled, my crane could easily raise the tower, we could top the tower with a twenty foot pole and halyard to get 90 feet AGL. That might make a nice end fed antenna for receiving.
Looking for ideas here.
