I self learned programming with the Microsoft Basic, the manual consisted of three Books that documented every command syntax for the compiler it included a debugger, it was a very rewarding time in creating programs that included the AWA RT80 ROM coding, just enter the radio channel frequency and required option and the code would spit out the bit structure for the ROM location, further I created a service program to manage repairs coming into the workshop and maintaining a service history for those units, followed with invoicing function.

The only formal training I received was when I did engineering and learned C
BASIC was my entry point.
