I really like Matt's project builds, and this one uses an old LCD TV along with a video projector to make a high contrast TV. These parts were obtained for free, or close to it and saved them from the trash. That is another thing I like about his stuff!
Earlier, I posted a video about him using a dead TV's backlight for a "sky light".
