3D Resin Printing

Took the plunge after some encouragement from VK3ZYZ and purchased a Unicubic printer at a discounted price of $120.00
I was attracted at the higher resolution offered by resin printing, with the small amount of money required it was worth a try.

Setting up the printer was relatively easy proceeding to print a panel for the IC22S that VK3ZYZ had created created.
Made changes to the original design using Tinkercad.

Had I known it was so easy to use I would have invested into the technology some time ago.

Making washers

Having printed the face plate for the 22S why not print a knob....
Down the rabbit hole I go... well I have a good idea on how to make plastic washers (Print Fails)
Figuring out the exposure and curing times to print a knob took some 500 g of resin but got there in the end
Once I figured out the settings for small objects the results are predictable and as expected, its a juggle with surface tension and suction.

Coming out of the rabbit hole

Not perfect, could have used more antialiasing on the print, for a beginner I am happy with the result
