Just for experiment I am hoping to construct a tuning fork controlled oscillator. I am hoping for a frequency of 1or 2 KHz. I am considering making the fork from an old unused circular saw, I know that the steel in saws is good quality. The plan is to use an angle grinder cutting disc to produce the fork. I came across an interesting triple tyne fork design which could improve frequency stability. I made a sketch of the triple fork and at the present time I,m studying the sketch to work out the cutting order from the saw material.
