The letters are available in different colours and sizes, they are mounted in a 3D printed enclosure behind a piece of red acrylic.

Here are the STL files, Jaycar sells the red acrylic sheet, and the width I used is the same as the standard sheet, so you only need to cut a 60mm wide strip off their standard sheet.

The front Bezel has a larger margin on the left side to put power supply bits and pieces. The Bezel is a tight fit and doesn't need glue or fixtures.

A simple RF sensing circuit would be a nice modification to light up an "ON-AIR" version.
