A bit more work on the H Loop antenna. Today I fitted a new 4:1 Balun and Common Mode Rejection choke in the box at the H Loop down feed position. That all might provide a better match for the antenna and co-ax cable feed. Check the images of the Balun and CMR Choke also the antenna distribution panel in the Hut. The performance of the H Loop antenna might be better with this Balun configuration, we shall see over time. Last week we made and fitted ladder line down feed from the antenna to the Balun/Choke/Spark Gap Box.All in the nature of an upgrade.
