Medtronic is a common pacemaker used today. Mine is a Medtronic.
This is Medtronic's advice to amateurs. I have to presume this advice applies both to analogue and digital transmissions.
Advice elsewhere suggests your phone should not be kept in your breast pocket over the pacemaker but this may not be true for modern pacemakers.
