Ok , have it installed as companion mode.
Companion Mode, it allows messaging with other Meshcore users in the vicinity, but it does not repeat messages like a repeater would. So it's like a server.
There is a public channel set up by default , have been testing it sending a message from my ipad to my mobile
Installation of the firmware was dead easy just head to https://flasher.meshcore.co.uk/ , select the node that you have , and it hit flash 30seconds later it is all installed
It's all set up on the desk at the moment, so will need to throw together an antenna an install outdoors and give it a good test
