Here is the setup working. I need to darken the back light as my camera washes out.

An extra 330R in series with the backlight allows my camera to se it ok.

Ray noted the breadboards as in post #15 are available at Jaycar. They were 'hidden' in the Arduino section.
I do not know if the special price is still available.

Of course, you can get these cheaper on Ebay or similar, but this is on special for the next few days, and local, assuming they have them in stock.
This comes with some jumper wires and a power feed in board.

This one is about 165 x 54mm

This breadboard base suits an Arduino Uno like Jaycar....
