A couple of days ago I was crimping an Ethernet connector and my crimp tool broke.
I did try to glue it but that would not be strong enough.
So, here is my attempt at fixing it. First, a slot with a wood saw and a piece of steel cut to about the correct size...
The steel was pushed into the slot
Drilled and screwed. Then filed round (ish).
The assembly..
And it works
I'm pretty pleased as mechanical stuff is not my best talent.
