Has anyone worked with one of these .I think that IT1 is a strain measuring system Possibly the Huggenberger is an LVDT driver or a readout for an LVDT or strain gauge . It puts out a 1khz sinewave from one pair of terminals and a variable spikey wave from another set of terminals If I get time I might wind up an LVDT and try to see what happens .Any ideas from anyone? cheers.

No idea either Bill, but I have an LVDT you could borrow if you want to give it a try.

I found another Huggenberger box down in my shed it has about fifty terminals on it , must be some kind of interface for the real Huggenberger. I also found a Brush recorder unit , the chart recorder type with paper chart feed and amplifiers and pen drivers etc must have been tricky to run with the micro fine pens and really thin ink tubes. I think it uses a few 12AT7 tubes , Differential amps , trying to find the books for it, I know they are here somewhere.
