Have you wondered how a Hybrid car, like our Prius works?

Just pull the engine out and put a bigger battery in, that would simplify it all. I suspect that with the new plug in Prius you can modify them like the Lexus hybrids. With the Lexus hybrids, you can pull the V6 petrol out, bolt the old engine shaft to the gearbox housing with a steal bar. put a bigger battery in and change the inverter controlling software/hardware, to make a 260 kW fully electric.
PS I have a complete Lexus hybrid battery here if anyone wants it.

I am very pleased with our 2008 Prius.
It has done over 300K km and the battery i still ok. That said, the battery is not designed to run the car for any great distance.
A new electric car, particularly a Sodium battery one would be great, but a Tattslotto win will be needed for that!

My 2018 Li NiCoMn EV has done 140K km at 2% capacity loss. You can get Li FePO4 EV for about $24 k now but I guess in about 5 years you will get a Sodium ion one for $10k.
