At the bendigo hamfest the Victorian Amateur Radio Direction Finding Group had an exhibition there, so came back all inspired, have known about the sport of foxhunting since i was kid going to hamfest with my dad
I've had these bits laying around for awhile , a baofeng bf-888 ,arduiono nano chucked some coding on it and a relay, so threw it all together and put a stubby antenna on it
have 3d printed a few parts for a hand held 3 el yagi and will use a tape measure for the elements
threw together a step antenuator using a resistor pi-network and have thrown it into a cardboard box for testing ,will 3d print a case for , but will be making a 4mhz frequency offset attenuator https://github.com/erichVK5/frequency-offset-attenuator
might take it down to moira park
the wiring isn't pretty so that will be tidied up some
