I have an Acer One little laptop that would not charge the battery.
So, as there was nothing to loose, I carefully drilled a small hole in each end of the case to gain access to the batteries +ve and -Ve terminals.
A test with a multi meter showed the polarity and only about 9Volts. Applying power from my variable power supply of only about 200mA brought the volts up a bit and them when placing it back in the laptop, it charged to 100%.
Now I just have to see if I can find the bigger battery I have for this laptop and try it with that one.
And maybe with some other batteries too.
