After being put on hold for a week or two, our MeshCore repeater and companion project finally got moving again.

The delay was mainly around parts ordering. To keep costs down and make construction easier for everyone, the group decided to bulk order the parts so members would all have a similar setup. The project was also delayed because Kevin, who had organised the parts, was unable to attend a previous meeting.

But at last, the stars aligned and everything came together. We were able to get back into constructing our MeshCore repeaters and companion units. Some members followed the Bunnings light setup, while others used the Hayden VK7HH design.

By the end of the night, everyone had built something and made real progress.

Over the coming weeks, Shepparton should start lighting up on the EastMesh map, with new repeaters appearing across the area.
